Network & Infrastructure Manager

Job Description

The Information Services team supports all technology services at UTIMCO and requires an individual with experience managing a team, designing, building and maintaining a variety of enterprise technologies within a hybrid datacenter model. The ideal candidate must be highly curious and open-minded as well as the ability to effectively deconstruct complex technologies in a detailed and proficient manner. Essential functions include:

  • Manage a team of infrastructure engineers and helpdesk
  • Deeply technical, hands-on management of the UTIMCO LAN, WAN and cloud infrastructure
  • Design, build, pilot, socialize, and implement new infrastructure solutions to meet UTIMCO’s ever evolving technology requirements
  • Collaborate with UTIMCO Information Security in designing and enforcing security standards and practices
  • Maintain existing systems for a 24/7, 365 enterprise and act as network escalation resource
  • Build relationships across UTIMCO in order to foster a collegial culture on the Information Services team and across the organization
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned


  • 10+ years’ experience in team leadership, management, solutions engineering, project management and end user support oriented high availability environment
  • Modern switches, routers, firewalls and wide area network administration
  • Enterprise Cloud architecture
  • Enterprise systems security
  • Experience in VMware ESXi
  • Strong Windows Server 2012/2016
  • Traditional and hybrid SAN experience
  • Strong in Powershell, Python, Bash or other scripting language
  • Performance monitoring and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a leading institution
  • CCNP or equivalent experience
  • CISSP or equivalent experience
  • O365 administration or equivalent experience
  • MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or equivalent experience
  • MCSE Mobility or equivalent experience
  • Effective project management acumen
  • Experience working in a dynamic, team-oriented and collaborative atmosphere
